The exceptional design of the Djeco Sand Art Kits raises them above the occasionally frustrating experience other sand art sets. In a beautifully sturdy box, the kit is designed to be done inside the contained area, with a small hole in one corner which allows the artist to drain the sand back into the pot after use. A simple but effective tool makes it easy to peel off the sticky paper, one colour at a time and apply sand without waste or mess. 12 pots of coloured sand and a ring bound instruction manual are included in this 25x25cm boxed kit which makes 5 square sand art pictures illustrating mandala art from around the world. Age 9 and upwards.

Helen Johnson, high quality and an absorbing craft.

this kit has been shared between my 9 and 5 year old daughters, my 10 year old nephew and 6 year old niece. the simpler designs by the younger children. all have really enjoyed this kit, and the end pictures look really beautiful. the sand colours are slightly more subdued than the box implies, but give a really earthy look. all the end pictures are gorgeous! as usual for djeco, the boxing, sands and cards are all well thought out and to a high quality design, and following the orders suggested for sand colour is very sensible. the 5 continents theme has also sparked off lots of discussion amongst the children. full marks for another outstanding kit!
