As home educators for our own four children, we firmly believe in the power of learning through play, whether it be through good quality toys and plenty of time to enjoy them, or focused learning materials which are a pleasure to use and enjoy. Whether learning letters in matching games with sisters, or sticking magnetic numbers to the radiators and fridge door, there is much to be gained from just messing about with the building blocks of life; letters, numbers, shapes and colours. We've created this educational toy section to bring together the wealth of toys that cover some of the most essential areas of learning - not because we believe in force feeding children pre-determined educational goal but because we know that children delight in playing with and absorbing the most useful tools of life through play.
