Flying Scotsman Train

The Flying Scotsman was built in 1923 and was part of the A1 class of locomotive. It gained its name in 1924 after the London-Edinburgh 120am service it ran and in 1934 was the first locomotive to clock speeds of 100mph. It retired in 1963 after 40 years of service and has since been purchased and restored to full working order. The Bigjigs Rail Heritage Collection offers a delightful range of replicas from the golden age of rail. Wooden replica of the Flying Scotsman locomotive.
